Dial-Up Access
All rates and details listed below are
effective January 1, 2003.
Dial-up access accounts are designed for
individuals or families who share a single computer to access e-mail and
the web. Internet protocol (IP) addresses are dynamically assigned
at the start of each dial-up session, and all dial-up sessions must be
attended by a single user on a single computer. Users wishing to
have a fixed IP address, unattended sessions, or multiple users sharing a
single connection should use a dedicated access
account.
All of our individual Internet access accounts
include:
- Five e-mail addresses (@apci.net),
- E-mail virus scanning,
- Custom junk mail controls,
- Web-based e-mail access (in addition to
standard POP3),
- Web-based account management and
statistics,
- Ten megabytes (50MB) of storage for a
personal web site,
- Access to over 30,000 USENET discussion
groups, and
- Expert technical support.

Analog (Modem) Account
- This account is perfect for
families who share a single computer and need multiple e-mail addresses
and additional space to accommodate a family home page. A typical
phone line is required, and a modem that supports the V.90 protocol is
preferred.
ISDN Digital 64 Account
- This account is perfect for
users who desire a low-latency connection for real-time network activities
such as gaming as well as additional bandwidth for moderate file transfers
or streaming audio. Since ISDN is a true digital connection that is
not susceptible to line noise, quality connections are guaranteed.
Initial connect time is typically under five seconds. A standard
ISDN line is required (available directly from Ameritech for approximately
$40/month), as well as an ISDN terminal adapter (available from APCi for
an additional charge of approximately $200).
ISDN Digital 128 Account
- This account is perfect for
users who desire a low-latency connection for real-time network activities
such as gaming as well as additional bandwidth for large file transfers or
streaming audio and video. Since ISDN is a true digital connection

Credit and debit card payments are accepted
